Our Expertise

Our work is grounded in technical, environmental, business, and real estate expertise. Todd is a registered professional structural and civil engineer. As well as having a construction supervisor’s license, he is a LEED Accredited Professional. In 1996, Todd integrated the environmentally conscious and sustainable benefits of Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) Construction and other green building methods into the high-end and coastal residential home building market on Cape Cod and Nantucket, cementing LaBarge Homes as a leader in sustainable building practices in the region. Lori began her career as a project manager in corporate banking and now oversees the business management and operations of LaBarge Homes. She holds a Massachusetts Real Estate Broker’s License and has personally developed several residential and commercial properties. Lori works closely with LaBarge Homes’ clients, who trust her knowledge of Cape Cod and the real estate market.

Our Inspiration

Lori and Todd built their business together, parallel to the life they’ve built for their family of four children and a Chesapeake Bay Retriever, here on Cape Cod. Knowing first-hand why living on Cape is so special, they’re equipped to build a similar experience for their clients. With an approach that seeks to carve out space that is uniquely yours to call home, while preserving the natural beauty and tradition of Cape Cod, Todd and Lori work in partnership focused around the client and supported by experienced and talented architects, designers, and craftspeople to realize this vision. The team at LaBarge Homes takes a complete approach to our projects, taking the greatest care to ensure that creating and maintaining our clients’ homes fits into their lifestyle, and the environments and communities they’re a part of.   We draw on 25 years of experience, sustainable building practices, and white glove service to create a home…a sanctuary…for our clients here on Cape Cod.
